Charles Sturt University

Charles Sturt University

Introduction:
Charles Sturt University comprises seven campuses spanning locations from Bathurst in regional NSW, to Wagga, Canberra and as far as Albury-Wodonga in southern NSW.

CSU prides itself on excellence in teaching, research, and the bringing together of graduates and professions to facilitate the growth of these areas, and the growth of the economy as a whole.

CSU aims to meet these goals by providing flexible modes of learning and teaching (with CSU being Australia’s first and leading provider of distance education, comprising over 20,000 students annually), and by focusing on preparing students for the workplace. To this end, CSU boasts a rate of 87% of graduates securing employment in their area of study within four months of concluding their studies. CSU’s Bathurst campus serves as one of the three founding campuses, and is home to approximately 3000 on-campus students annually, around 900 of which call the various on-campus accommodation options home.
