Introduction:
This degree is the more flexible of the variations within the field of Education, where students can select their 24 subjects from a list of over 120 Education-oriented subjects, based on their personal interests and career aspirations.

Further study must be undertaken to gain a professional teaching qualification, however students will be able to study and acquire the broad range of vocational skills required in an increasingly diversified teaching workplace. Subjects can be chosen from the entire range of Education subjects, from years one through to four, in curriculum, discipline areas (English, Mathematics, PDHPE etc.), or professional development areas (including the historical importance and social context of Education and Teaching).

Career opportunities after completion of this degree without going on to further studies in Education involve work in vacation care, homework centres, or tutoring. However such opportunities are dependent upon the subjects that students elect to study.
