University of Notre Dame

University of Notre Dame

Introduction:
The University of Notre Dame Australia is a private university that has three campuses, located in Sydney, Fremantle and Broome. The Sydney campus was established in 2006, and now caters to 4,000 students. With 13 undergraduate degrees, and Medicine available as a graduate entry degree, Notre Dame is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to the large universities which surround it at Broadway and Darlinghurst.

Its small class sizes and focus on quality over quantity of enrolments means that Notre Dame does not strictly adhere to the structures of ATAR rankings. It offers students a chance to enter university on factors that do not rely on marks, but take into account a future student’s potential and passion for their studies.

With its offering of a comprehensive Catholic education, Notre Dame gives all students a grounding in Philosophy, Ethics and Theology subjects, in order to ground its values in all facets of its education. Notre Dame, however, welcomes students of all faiths or no faith. Students are surrounded by personable staff, many of whom act as mentors for students throughout their degrees.
