Bond University

Bond University

Introduction:
Bond University provides a fast-paced, corporate-style environment and is unique in its trimester academic year commencing in January, May and September. This means that graduates can kick-start their careers one year ahead of their classmates.

Japanese architect Arata Isozaki incorporated elements of feng shui to model Bond University on elements of harmony and balance. Most prominently, the university is renowned for its two-storey sandstone arch.

In the academic scene, Bond University has expanded its curriculum to include forensic science, IT management and architecture. There are 51 undergraduate degrees available on offer in 2013. Bond’s Law School is especially renowned as having an international reputation, with the university having won four international mooting competitions within the last year against the likes of Yale and Harvard.

The Bond University Student Association plays a very active role in student life, coordinating events and funding for various clubs and societies including the Drama Society and the Bond Exploration Society. Be it a weekly BBQ and music on the Ornamental Lawns, or a pool mid-semester exam recovery session, there’s never a dull moment on campus.
