RMIT

RMIT

Introduction:
With its three campuses in Melbourne and two in Vietnam, RMIT has become Australia’s largest tertiary institution. Internationally recognised for its excellence in practical education, RMIT is a leader in such areas as technology, design, global business and communication, among others.

The main campus is located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD on Swanston Street and near landmarks such as State Library and Melbourne Central Station, arguably giving it the best location in Melbourne.

In the 1990s, RMIT expanded quickly, with Bundoora and Brunswick campuses being established in 1995 and 1999 respectively. While Bundoora continues to offer similar degrees to its City counterpart, the Brunswick campus focuses particularly on Textiles. In addition, two campuses in Vietnam were established in 2001 and 2004.
Student life at RMIT is unique. Its central location gives students the opportunity to leave campus and explore the various cafes, bars and venues that makes Melbourne’s CBD so vibrant. That is not to say there is no fun on campus either. With free barbeques, live music, second-hand book and clothes sales every week, RMIT makes the most of its grounds.
